Reclaim your Life!!!
The recent advertisement of Tata Safari Dicor involves the following questions & some breathtaking visuals in the background. It’s one of the best advertisements of recent times. The concept is very innovative & well told in the video.
- A guy peaking out of his tent hanging on a cliff.
- If you looked back on your life, – A guy shivering in cold looking at the snow covered mountains.
- What would you remember? – A guy standing near to a hot water springs
- The corner office? – Snow tipped branches of a tree & a wooden board over sea
- The corporate power plays? – A boiling kettle on a barren land
- The VIP lounge? – Gushing waterfalls & a kayaking boat
- What would you remember? – A guy coming out of a river covered with caves
- Reclaim your life – A guy standing beside the Safari Dicor on a lush green hill top
Tata Safari has always come up with some brilliant advertisement in the past & now. No one can forget the first advertisement with the “Reclaim your life” series which has the following intriguing statements.
- I always wanted to quit on Monday mornings – A corporate guy in a busy hallway says these lines
- I always wanted to chase the rains – A corporate guy in a busy meeting room says these lines
- I always wanted to swim with the whales – Another corporate guys in his bedroom with his surf slanting on the back says these lines
- I always wanted to take a trip around the world – A pregnant lady with her husband in a hospital says these lines
- I always wanted to …always wanted to …. – A guy sitting on a chair with his cell phone & laptop side by with time ticking away
- Reclaim Your Life!!!
There was another ad for same Tata Dicor which I didn’t like much till I saw the complete version on YouTube recently. The statement goes something like the below
- Slavery is not dead
- You have just stopped recognizing it
- When did you agree to always being watched?
- To your life is not being yours anymore
- Just when did you forget the only one stopping you is you.
- It takes little to reclaim your life.
Visuals are mostly related to security related stuffs like baggage check, closed circuit cameras, investigative dogs, “Keep out” boards, Swipe machines, Metal detectors.
There is also one more advertisement of Tata Dicor which is concealed in Televisions. Watched the full version in YouTube.
- Lines – Lines of a competition swimming pool where one person is swimming between his lane
- Lines can keep you in – Line Of Control (LOC) border inside view from an army personal
- Lines can keep you out – LOC border outside view of the barbed wire
- Some lines you don’t understand – A art of 3D lines on a wall with a girl watching them
- Some lines you can erase – A line drawn by a pencil in reverse
- Some you can’t – Lines of the palm
- Some lines you wait for – A child of 4 Ft height on a height chart looking at 6 ft mark
- And some lines make you wait – A prisoner counting his days by drawing lines on the walls
- Lines can keep you alive – Heart beat graph of a person on ECG machine
- Lines are with you to the end – Heart beat graph becoming a single line denoting death on ECG machine
- are the only lines that matter
- Other ones you make… – Lines made on a muddy land by Tata Safari Dicor…
All the above said advertisements have very good background score too. The ideas are some of the most original & inspiring ones. They very much relate to the corporate life what we are leading now. They make an impact not for the product but for the concept which can be related to everyday corporate life isn’t it?

Looks like someone is fed of the corporate life
You could have included youtube links to make the post more complete.
